As an engaged seller and buyer in my own family’s move to this area that I love about 15 years ago, I realized the true value of working with an outstanding real estate agent. It is this experience that made me want to become an agent, knowing the satisfaction that would come from helping people find their perfect neighborhood and home. And in my first few years as a realtor, I can honestly say that working with clients to find their dream home and/or get the best return on a home that no longer fits their needs is just as rewarding an experience as I thought it would be.
Before getting involved in real estate, I worked full time in the Memorial Hermann system as a senior financial analyst for 14 years. As an analyst, I honed my exacting attention to detail and my ability to develop meaningful relationships with my clients, which I now know to be fundamental traits of a great realtor. Even though real estate is now my focus, I continue sharpening these traits through the rewarding challenge of being an internal consultant with Memorial Hermann.
Part of why I love real estate so much is because it goes well beyond just showing up to work everyday. It is a well rounded, comprehensive career that integrates community and social life. Through daily interactions with clients and other agents, I am constantly growing and strengthening relationships and actively involved in many Houston communities. I’ve had the privilege of representing buyers and sellers in a variety of the city’s neighborhoods, from sought after spots such as the Heights and Rice Military, to lesser known gems like Idylwood. As a bronze level member of HAR’s Real Estate Community, I am even able to build relationships online with other agents and consumers by sharing and receiving real estate knowledge, opinions and experiences.
Besides my ongoing passion for real estate, my other passion is my family. My husband Brett and I have three beautiful children. They all attend St. Theresa Catholic School in Memorial Park, and my involvement there means so much to me. I proudly serve on the school board, PTO, and I’m a homeroom mom to all three of my little ones. I can’t think of a better way to spend my time when not working than to be as fully engaged and devoted in the development and education of my children as I am professionally.
