Susan Ripley Hilliard is a lover of Houston history and has lived in Houston for over 40 years. In that time she’s become exceptionally familiar with the city and its neighborhoods. Having grown up in New Orleans which is rich with historic charm, she has always been fascinated by the stories behind every city and neighborhood. Houston is one of the most diverse cities in America and the stories of how its neighborhoods came to be are just as varied. Susan’s here to share with you the distinct narratives behind a few of her favorite Houston neighborhoods.
